I signed up for The President's Challenge. You log your workouts and earn points towards awards. I put in this week's workouts and I'm already 6% of my way to the goal of 20,000 points for the bronze medal.
Anyone interested in joining a group for this???

D was home today so I got a lot done. Set-up appointment with new dr. for Sage, bought patio furniture and a lawn-mower, went to WSU to talk to an advisor about school next year, called (and got the run around) about Tren's school, RSVP-ed for a birthday party, worked on my current school project, and set-up a play date for skating plus all my regular stuff like dishes, laundry, sweeping, etc. I feel very fulfilled today.

Now I can sit back, relax and watch My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance.

I know this must seem like a knitting blog lately but it's just because I have spring fever. I am so excited to start work on my garden. We are going to try to grow everything this year: pumpkins, tomatoes, watermelon, carrots, onions, cucumbers, etc. I also want an herb garden. The bulbs in front of our house are already peeking up through the ground. I love owning my own house.

My LYS just recieved, what I thought was, the lastest rebecca. But it turns out they just can out with a new one. I am working on a great spring top from Rebecca 22 and have 2 other projects on my list. I love this little girls dress but I seriously doubt Sage would wear it . I am in a creative frenzy right now. Knitting, sewing, cooking, creating for the kids and other craftiness. I think that spring is in the air.
Dennis has promised me a new digital camera soon, so I can post all my great stuff.

I am desperate for the BagSmith Project Bag. I saw it in KC at Urban Arts and Crafts but didn't buy it. Now I wish I would have. I'm checkout the local shops but I haven't seen them there. Most likely I will order it from the Yarn Cellar, only 2 bucks for shipping that's great!!!

Last night was our first sleep over. It was T's 10 year anniversary so the twins spent the night. I bought the B-stylin' Button Designer which was a huge hit. The girls made about 60 buttons.

Of course D had to make some of his own buttons, he took them to school today to give out (keep in mind he teaches high school). Here's what they said:
"Kid's Learn in Mr. Tabor's class"
" I'm #5 in Mr. Tabor's class"
" I feel that earth-space has met my educational needs"

Also on my trip, I had my belly button pierced. No, I am not a Britney Spears wanna-be, rock hard abs, teeny bopper. I am a 26 year old, mother of two, who drives a mini-van. But I wanted to do it. It's like, when you have on matching lacey undies and bra, no one knows it but you just feel sexier. Now I'm one Hot Mama.

Here's a link to the place I had it done.
