I got another great knitting book. Weekend Knitting by Melanie Falick. I like to do small projects, I need the (almost) instant gratification. I will be posting pictures soon

Most people rake up their leaves so they can put them in trash bags and get rid of them. Not us, we rake up leaves so we can jump and play in them.

This guy has the greatest sense of style. I love everything he does. The wok side table is genius. And the fabric panel wall is my favorite.

I'm not really a big movie-at-the-movie-theatre person but yesterday I saw both The Matrix: Revolution and Elf.

I had heard bad things about the final Matrix, like it doesn't have a real ending and it doesn't answer the questions. But personally I really enjoyed it. I believe a lot of the questions were answered but you have to think about it, nothing about The Matrix has ever been obvious; come on people use your brains.

Elf was a great family classic. Great for younger children, no vulgar language or sexual reference. But still very funny.

4. What famous person, whom many people may find unappealing, do you find

Thanks to dailycandy, I have found the perfect winter wear for me. I personally hate to wear coats, I just don't feel like I can move around in them. But a poncho is perfect, not too big and bulky but very warm. This one retails for $88 at Ravinstyle. I love the colors, so now I'm on a hunt for the yarn and a pattern to make it myself. IT proably won't be done till next winter since I'm not very good at staying interested in large projects but it always feels good to have a couple of things on your needles.

Saturday, November 1

I was lucky enough to find some great fabric at my late night Wal-Mart adventure. I think the brown and pink (my new favorite color comb.) will be a couple of pillows. And the purple will be a bag.

Trick or Treating was the best. We went around the block but it was pretty cold, so we headed over to the church where they were having a "Trunk or Treat". It was great you trick or treat from the back people's decorated trunks. We got alot of candy in a short distance. Plus they had the gym full of games, a huge maze, and jumpies. It was perfect. Now the kids are having candy for breakfast.
